Dunbrody Cookery School

*****

A brilliant gift of a cookery course in Dunbrody by my fabulous sister-in-law Paula led to one of the best day's out I've had in ages.  Interesting and enjoyable in every way without a dull moment in a gorgeous location. We did our annual...

Chinese Food Made Easy (BBC)

Heat (RTE)

*****

A decent enough reality tv cookery show but nothing to grab you. Not as good as Top Chef or as bad as Hell's Kitchen.

*****

Top Chef has easily become my favourite cooking show of all time. I don't know what it is about its combination of reality tv, food, famous chefs and excitement, but nothing comes close. The season 4 finale was a cliffhanger. Usual warnings apply,...

Top Chef Season 4

*****

As the contestants get whittled down, the competition is getting tougher, patience is wearing thin and the tension is rising. This is my favourite reality tv cookery based series and I've enjoyed the 3 preceding series.

Top Chef (Season 3)

*****

Too many weak chefs weaken it slightly. Now down to last 4 but really last 2. Loving every second. Must C TV.
